Trump at least offers hope of accountability

When I look at this election so far, the thing that disturbs me most is the bad human behavior and mudslinging from politicians, the press and so many others with what is said and done.

Fact is the support that Donald Trump is getting from many of us is a result of our distrust for our government and their lack of accountability which seems to be an epidemic in this country.

We American taxpaying, law-abiding citizens keep picking up the tab for this lack of accountability. As for motives, going after votes with agendas pertaining to certain lifestyles, race or gender (see Hillary) subdivides a country and creates resentment and hostility between us.

It's the oldest of war tactics, divide and conquer.

Do you really think our current people on Capitol Hill are working for us?

Our health care, our middle class, our national security and our national debt all suffering. Where's the accountability?

This is 20-plus years of "politically correct-it is what it is-and gray area." Look, Trump is not perfect and he can say some brash things and is not likable by all. Sounds like all of us when we look in the mirror. Can he be respected? Can he be accountable? Can he listen and act? And can he still learn already being a brilliant and tough businessman?

This voter thinks he can, and I will be paying close attention. We are long overdue for that kind of president.
