Elk Grove's Channel 6 wins three awards
Elk Grove Television Channel 6, the village's government access cable channel, won awards in three categories at an annual competition hosted by Wisconsin Community Media and the Alliance for Community Media Midwest region.
The competition hosted 185 entries from community media centers in Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa, North Dakota and Minnesota.
EGTV won for the series "Inside the Village" in the magazine format/news category, and for live coverage of a December 2015 village board meeting and the March 2015 League of Women Voters Elk Grove Park District Candidates Forum.
