We should be stewards, not destroyers of planet

April 22 was officially Earth Day, but in reality every day must be a vital day to conserve the planet and reduce harmful human activities.

We need to proactively reduce air, water and land pollution, deforestation, the consumption of meat, pork and poultry, logging, mining and drilling, hunting, trapping, poaching and overfishing and the reckless exploitation of waning water supplies and marine and terrestrial ecosystems.

The onus is on humans to save Mother Earth. We must become benevolent stewards instead of malevolent destroyers.
