The Chicago Blackhawks lost a close game 3-2 against the St. Louis Blues at the United Center in Chicago on Sunday afternoon during Game 3 of the first-round Stanley Cup playoff series.

Defenseman Brent Seabrook opened the scoring in the first period during a power-play by the Hawks.

St. Louis came back to even the score at 1-1 when Colton Parayko scored on a power-play before the end of the opening frame.

In the second period, forward Artem Anisimov scored a goal after an unbelievable pass from Artemi Panarin that put the Blackhawks up with a score of 2-1.

The Blues' Patrik Berglund deflected a long shot off the leg of Hawks defender Michal Rozsival and tied the game at 2-2.

It was a high sticking by forward Patrick Kane leading to a double minor in the final period that proved to be the turning point with the Blues scoring the winning goal. Blues Jaden Schwartz blasted the puck during the first power-play to score the goal and make it 3-2.

Blackhawks goalie Corey Crawford was big again this game stopping 33 of 36 shots.
