Tax-per-mile plan a tooth fairy dream

O.M.G. I can't believe this guy, Senate President John Cullerton. Wants to tax per mile. An electric car or Prius cause same wear and tear as gas guzzlers? And they're considering it?

Like me complaining about a robin tearing my yard up? This guy should tax the stuff he's smoking. All these years with him in office letting the state get out of control and wants Illinois drivers to pay for the needed repairs on the roads.

Keep raising the cost of tax on cigarettes and people quit smoking. Then what? Tax the air we breathe?

Let truckers, construction vehicles and surrounding states cruise around and we have to pay. We already do with tolls.

Where is all the money going, Cullerton? Try fixing issues and work on a budget and stop dreaming about the tooth fairy bringing you a dollar under your pillow.
