Construction and sales underway at Timer's Edge in Northbrook

Construction and sales are underway at Timber's Edge, a community of 21 single-family homes located off Dundee Road just east of Sanders Road in north suburban Northbrook.

Built by KZF Development; designed by renowned architecture & land planning firm HKM. HKM's vision was based on the singular intent of fostering a strong sense of community; while incorporating design elements that provide an East Coast feel.

Three different home styles are offered at Timber's Edge, including a ranch (all first-floor living), a Cape Cod (master bedroom on the first floor, additional bedrooms on second floor) and traditional 2-story homes. Pre-construction prices range from $694,900 to $804,000.

Timbers Edge is located at 3895 Dundee Road. Homes will range in size from 1,860 to 3,100 square feet and offer 2-to-4 bedrooms, 2-to-3½ baths and an attached 2-car garage.

"Currently roads and infrastructure are being installed, and we anticipate prospective home buyers will be able to drive the site in May," Kogen-Friedman said.

Timber's Ridge reflects a pedestrian friendly coastal-style design. All homes have with front porches and rear decks. Paved walkways lead to a community green with benches, pergolas and a fountain.
