Teacher for a Day
Queen of the Rosary students were treated to a diversion on April 7, when almost two dozen enthusiastic students traded places with the Elk Grove school's teachers and staff. Students, who won the coveted "teacher" roles via auction at the spring fundraiser, came to school out-of-uniform and spent part of the day taking on many responsibilities of the classroom teacher, school secretary, principal, and dean of students. Besides not having to wear a uniform to school, student-teachers delighted in leading instruction, grading papers,giving out of uniform passes, or banning homework.
