Streamwood Stride 5k and 10k set for June 11
The Streamwood Park District will hold its annual Streamwood Stride 5k and 10k race at 8 a.m. June 11.
The race will begin and end at the Park Place Family Recreation Center, 550 S. Park Blvd.
Registration prior to June 5 is $30, and $35 after June 5. Kiddie run registration is available for children ages 3-7, and costs $7 before June 5 and $10 after.
A pancake breakfast will be served in the recreation center's gym after the race.
Awards will be given to the three fastest runners in each age group for the 5k and 10k races. Participants in the 5k and 10k also will receive technical shirts.
