Barrington picks theme for 4th of July Parade

The theme of this year's Barrington 4th of July Parade will be "The Best of Barrington - Celebrating our Community," event organizers announced.

The annual parade will step off at 10 a.m. Monday, July 4, from Barrington High School and march along Main Street to the village's train station.

Applications are being accepted from now until June 17 for participation in the parade. Applications may be dropped off or mailed to Barrington Village Hall, 200 S. Hough St., Barrington, IL 60010. The application fee is discounted for forms received before May 31.
