Schaumburg 60th anniversary license plates available
The village of Schaumburg's 60th anniversary this year is being commemorated with special event license plates that can be legally displayed on vehicles from July 8 through Sept. 8.
A set of the license plates costs $65 and must be ordered before midnight on Friday, March 25.
Those interested can place their orders using the village's online payment system, WebPay at https://vospub.ci.schaumburg.il.us/webpay.
Orders also will be accepted in person at the finance counter of the Robert O. Atcher Municipal Center, 101 Schaumburg Court.
The Secretary of State requires a photocopy of your current vehicle registration with orders. That registration must be valid through Sept. 30, 2016. For more information, call 311 while in Schaumburg.
