Clinton swings left to beat Sanders

Park Ridge native Hillary Clinton beats self proclaimed socialist. Bernie Sanders, 50 percent to 49 percent after the Clinton campaign spent almost one year preparing for this primary, dumped millions into paid advertising for Clinton and had almost all the leading Democrats in the state of Illinois lined up behind her.

Could it possibly be that Hillary's sharp drift to the left to defeat the hard-charging socialist is catching up with her?

A recent example by Mrs. Clinton was that "the Affordable Care Act is one of the greatest accomplishments of President Obama, of the Democratic Party and of our country." Almost everyone I have spoken to over the last few years disagrees with this idea from purely personal experience.

President Obama has spent almost two years denying the terrorist torture and slaughter of Christian and Yezidis men, women and children, by not calling this what the whole world knows it to be and that is genocide. And where has Hillary Clinton's voice been regarding this genocide? Well, guess what, the United States House of Representatives has just embarrassed President Obama and Hillary Clinton by passing a resolution 383-0 that declares ISIS is committing "genocide against Christians and other religious minorities."

Finally just in the last few weeks Hillary has become something of a gaffe machine. First she angered gay activists by crediting Nancy Reagan with having started a "national conversation" about AIDS. She said of Saunders: "I don't know where he was when I was trying to get health care (legislation) in 93' and 94'." It turned out back then she praised him for his help. In a town hall, she promised to "put a lot of coal miners and coal companies out of business." This one is most surprising because anyone realizes we must start generating the economic engine of our country by creating good paying jobs again.
