Grayslake Central HS Freshman Scores Big At Illinois Swimming State Meet

Charles Schober, a freshman at Grayslake Central High School, placed first in the Illinois Swimming Age Group State Swim Meet at UIC Natatorium over the past weekend in the 400 Yard Individual Medley (IM) with a time of 4:07.80. This time earned him a National Qualifying time to compete at the NCSA Junior National Championship Swim Meet in Orlando, FL. Charles also placed 2nd in the 200 Yard IM, 3rd in the 200 Yard Backstroke, 4th in the 100 Yard Backstroke and 7th and 8th place in the 100 Yard Breaststroke and 200 Yard Freestyle. These results also earned him 2 additional qualifying times for the NCSA Junior National Championship Swim Meet
