Batavia McDonald's holds McTeacher's Night to support their local school

On Wednesday, March 9, Louise White Elementary School held a very successful McTeacher's Night fundraiser at the McDonald's in Batavia.

The Louise White McTeacher's Night was a fun way to bring the Louise White teachers together and have the opportunity to meet the parents of students and members of the community while raising funds for the school. And what a great community the Louise White School is, as the restaurant was full of families supporting the school as well as waiting to see their teachers and school staff.

Teachers had so much fun at this community event where they were able to interact with families and students. Many teachers worked from the school. The McTeacher jobs included greeting guests, cleaning the lobby, working the front counter, serving drinks, clearing tables, and serving ice cream.

Louise White McTeachers had it all covered, and the families enjoyed a spectacular evening. The school plans to use the money raised to go into the fund to support teacher appreciation, supplies, field trips and assemblies. Lots of students, teachers, families and friends came out in their support. All the kids came to see their teachers work at the McDonald's in Batavia. Special thank-you goes to Kathy Kuchta, who is part of the PTO and who organized the entire event.

The McTeacher's Night was courtesy of the Batavia McDonald's owner/operators, the Lardas family. For more information about events provided by the Batavia McDonald's, contact Julie Travers, community relations director, julie.travers@comcast.net.
