Wild's Erik Haula named NHL Second Star of the Week

ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) - Minnesota Wild center Erik Haula has been named the NHL's Second Star of the Week.

Haula led the Wild to a sweep of their four games, including a 6-1 outdoor victory over the Chicago Blackhawks Sunday in the NHL Stadium Series at TCF Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.

The former University of Minnesota player posted a goal and two assists for his first career 3-point game against Chicago.

Haula started the week with two assists in a 5-2 win over Vancouver and had a goal and an assist in a 5-3 win over Calgary.

The 24-year-old native of Pori, Finland, has scored seven goals and had 13 assists for 20 points in 53 games this season, matching a career high in goals while setting personal bests in assists and points.
