Art Van Furniture to open in Glendale Heights

GLENDALE HEIGHTS - Art Van Furniture is opening its 11th Chicago area location on March 2 at 125 E. Army Trail Road in Glendale Heights.

The occasion will be marked with an open house starting at 5:30 p.m. and a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 6 p.m.

"We are very eager for Glendale Heights families to experience Art Van Furniture's spectacular selection of affordable home furnishings and our special brand of customer service," said Kim Yost, CEO of Art Van Furniture. "We plan to play an active role in the community as we enhance people's lives as well as their homes."

More than 50 full and part-time jobs are being created at the new 42,459 square foot store that will include the retailer's Art VanPureSleep and Urban departments.

The public is invited to attend the March 2 open house and ribbon cutting ceremony, hosted by Eric and Kathy of 101.9 The Mix. Art Van Furniture CEO Kim Yost, Chamber of Commerce President Keith Knautz, and other local dignitaries will be on hand. The festivities will continue on Saturday, March 5 and Sunday, March 6 when families are

invited to shop while enjoying complimentary refreshments, clowns and live entertainment.

Art Van Furniture's 10 other Chicagoland locations include Batavia, Bedford Park, Chicago (Logan Square), Downers Grove, Naperville, Orland Park, Rockford and Woodridge (Bolingbrook) in Illinois and Merrillville and Portage, Indiana. For more information, visit artvan.com.
