Wannemaker's holds spring show

DOWNERS GROVE - Wannemaker's Home and Garden will holds its annual Spring Home & Garden Show from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. March 5 and 6 at 1940 Ogden Ave., Downers Grove.

Free seminars throughout the weekend will cover the latest trends in houseplants, gardening for pollinators, ponds, creating an outdoor room, and much more. All seminars will be held from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on both days.

In addition, free grilling and smoking demonstrations will be provided by Weber Grill and Traeger. Guests will have the opportunity to learn about trends in smoking with Traeger at 11 a.m. March 6.

Experts on hand will be available to help garden enthusiasts choose from a large selection of annuals, perennials, trees, shrubs, roses, vegetables, bird feeders and more. There will also be some of the biggest sales of the year on patio furniture, grills and grilling accessories, fountains, pottery, bathroom vanities, and more.
