What do you think of when you think of Addison? How about great pancakes, nature trails and historic houses.

On cold days or warm, there's plenty to do around the village.

Start with a hearty breakfast at Millie's then work it off with a hike along the Salt Creek Trail or golf at the Golf Dome.

Stop by the Addison Public Library for a book and maybe a treat in the cafe, then walk the Addison Historical District located right behind the library.

There's even a nature center across from Addison Trail High School.

Look for a new "Icons of ..." town gallery every Sunday at dailyherald.com/galleries and on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. On our social media sites, share your favorite Addison photos with us by using #shareyoursuburb.

And tell us what photos are your favorites. Which ones stir a memory for you? Where do you love to go in town?
