MCC offers OSHA Electrical Safety courses

CRYSTAL LAKE - The Shah Center of McHenry County College is offering two OSHA Electrical Safety courses facilitated by OSHA authorized trainer, Mike Serpe, principle at Safety First NA.

The programs will be held at McHenry County College Shah Center, 4100 W. Shamrock Lane in McHenry. The two courses include OSHA Electrical Safety from 8-11 a.m. on Feb. 11 and OSHA NFPA 70E Electrical Safety in the Workplace from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Feb. 11.

The OSHA Electrical Safety course will cover OSHA requirements for electrical safety, frequently cited violations, basic electrical concepts, the effects of electricity on the body, and safety-related work practices.
