Local J.D. Byrider franchisee received top honor

CARMEL, Ind. - Franchised used car and finance company J.D. Byrider has named franchisee Mike Burgstone and his team as Franchise of the Year for their successful operations.

Burgstone won in the mid-store category for his stores in Joliet, Glendale Heights and East Dundee. The Joliet store also earned a President's Award, which is based on store earnings, portfolio quality and customer service rankings.

Franchise of the Year winners are selected from among 171 locations across the U.S.

J.D. Byrider corporate chose Burgstone because of his dedication to customer service, excellence in sales and commitment to sharing best practices with other J.D. Byrider franchisees. This is the second consecutive year the team has won the award, and they were recognized during the company's annual convention in November.
