Hypocritcal position on Cruz citizenship

Since 2008, the birthers in the Republican Party have challenged Barack Obama's right to be president. They falsely claim he was born outside the country, and, therefore, was not a "natural born citizen" as required by Article II, Section 5 of the Constitution.

No matter that he is the son of an American citizen and, therefore, became a citizen at birth; if he was not born in the United States, he is not a "natural born citizen."

Today, many of these same birthers flock to the banner of Ted Cruz. Ted Cruz was born in Canada, the son of a Cuban father and, like Obama an American mother. By the birther's own definition Mr. Cruz is not a "natural born citizen" and, therefore, ineligible to be president. Yet, the birthers apparently see no problem with his election. What hypocrites!
