Two DuPage men help subdue unruly passenger

Four passengers, including two DuPage County men, subdued an unruly passenger on a flight bound for O'Hare until the plane made an emergency landing in Detroit, the Chicago Sun-Times reported.

The drama on a flight Thursday night began when a passenger scuffled with a flight attendant in the aisle not long after takeoff from New York's LaGuardia Airport, passenger Albert Cho of New York said.

The woman was screaming something about her necklace, then grabbed necklaces off the necks of the flight attendant and another passenger, Cho said.

As the woman headed down the aisle, she was wrestled to the floor by a group including Hinsdale native Chris Hildreth, Itasca resident Fletcher Oliver, Chicago resident Bob Fitzsimmons and a New Yorker named Sal.
