Congressional candidate fulfills my resolutions

In 2016 I resolve to work with and vote for the congressional candidate that best represents my interests and hopes and those of my students at Waukegan High School.

I resolve to vote for the candidate that will ease the burden of my students' parents by making maternity, paternity and sick leave a right, not a fear of losing their employment.

I resolve to vote for the candidate who will best protect my daughter, nieces and students' rights to make their own decisions, along with their families and physicians, concerning their bodies and well-being.

I resolve to vote for the candidate who will be and has been proactive in clean air and water issues. In this issue especially, I want a warrior.

I resolve to vote for the candidate who has and will continue to work to find common ground on gun control issues.

For these reasons and many more, this year I resolve to work and vote for Nancy Rotering, Democratic candidate for U.S. Congress in the 10th Congressional District of Illinois.
