The Juniper Center Founder Dr. Margo Jacquot Named in Women of Influence
(PARK RIDGE, IL)- Park Ridge business owner Dr. Margo Jacquot was named a "Woman of Influence" by The Chicago Business Journal, an initiative that recognizes women "who innovate, succeed, and pay it forward" in their communities. Honorees were selected for their record of success in business combined with a demonstrated commitment to building the next generation of women business leaders through mentoring and empowerment. Nominations for the award were by public submission, with final selection made by a group of American City Business Journal editors.
"Teaching and learning is part of the culture of my business," says Dr. Jacquot, who has mentored early career and student therapists in developing clinical skills, helped emerging entrepreneurs with practice development and the business side of owning a practice, and has a long-time commitment to professional association advocacy and involvement. Dr. Jacquot is the Founder and Director of The Juniper Center and has over 25 years of experience as a therapist, lecturer, and mentor. She is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, Certified Supervisory Addictions Counselor and Board Certified Expert in Traumatic Stress, as well as a local and national authority on trauma recovery, substance abuse, LGBTQ issues, and working with couples. Dr. Jacquot will be joined by 49 other women to be honored at a ceremony by the Chicago Business Journal on January 21st, 2016. The event is being held at the Trump Hotel Chicago (401 N. Wabash Ave. Chicago IL 60611) from 12-2 pm, and will feature a panel discussion on the importance of mentors and mentoring. The Women of Influence program is part of a national effort by American City Business Journals to celebrate women business leaders and develop business environments that will create more leadership opportunities for women in the future.
