Youth orchestra and choir perform at Schaumburg's Prairie Center

The Schaumburg Youth Symphony Orchestra and Schaumburg Youth Choir presented the Presto! Holiday Concert in two performances Saturday.

The holiday shows combined the music of the season with short vignettes and narration between numbers. The orchestra was under the direction of Joseph Malmquist and the choir was under the direction of Michael VanCamp.

The program included music of Tchaikovsky, Rimsky-Korsakov, Mozart and Wagner, along with a host of popular carols.
