We got fundamental change all right

As of late I would assume that a lot of people are scratching their heads wondering what the heck is going on.

A gold medal winning decathlete was just named woman of the year. A young boy who feels like a girl is now allowed into the girls locker room while at another nearby school a young person was expelled for giving a classmate a friendly hug.

We have spent billions on the Affordable Care Act that no one can afford while we watch it collapse under its own incompetent weight. Our workforce participation rate is at historic lows with over 90 million eligible people not working while the vast majority of them are not counted in the unemployment rate.

People who believe we should have smaller government, less taxes and stick to the rules spelled out in our constitution are referred to as far right-wing radicals.

We are $18 trillion in debt and just approved a new budget with more deficit spending.

One could go on for a long time with a list of things that just don't make sense but I am left with one basic question. Back when Obama was repeating his pledge to "fundamentally change America," should we have asked if he meant for the better?
