Christmas extravaganza includes comedic skits

The 11th annual Christmas Extravaganza and Dinner will be held at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church on Sunday December 6th at 4 pm at the church, 930 W. Higgins Rd., Schaumburg.

This annual celebration is a Christmas-themed program centered around the telling of the story of the birth of Christ with music and comedic skits. This year's program is titled "Lights…Camera…Christ is Born!"

It features music performed by Prince of Peace Adult and Handbell Choirs, instrumentalists, and Sunday School Children. The program is designed to evoke memories of 1970's era television variety shows in the minds of audience members.

Prince of Peace Director of Music Scott Uddenberg directs. A potluck dinner will follow. Admission is free. All are welcome. A free will offering will be collected.
