Jail for Bartlett woman who stabbed 65-year-old man

A Bartlett woman who authorities say stabbed a 65-year-old man earlier this year pleaded guilty to a charge of aggravated domestic battery this week, court records show.

In exchange for her guilty plea to the felony, Jennifer Behnen, 32, was sentenced to 180 days in jail and 30 months' probation.

Records also show Behnen was ordered to undergo a mental health evaluation and follow all recommendations. Additionally, she was fined $634.

Police declined to discuss Behnen's relationship to the man, whose house she shared, or the motive for the stabbing. The victim's injuries were not life threatening, authorities said.
