Entrepreneur helps boost Bentley's Corner Barkery

LINCOLNSHIRE - Entrepreneur Marcus Lemonis, host of CNBC's The Profit, has partnered with Bentley's Corner Barkery, a family-owned business founded by Lisa and Giovanni Senafe of Palatine, on the newest episode of The Profit.

Focused on helping pets and their owners understand the value of healthy foods and wholesome treats, the business started in Arlington Heights seven years ago with a promise of offering genuine meat products for feeding pets that is made in the U.S. The pet food chain has since grown to seven stores across the Chicago area.

"Partnering with Bentley's and becoming involved in this vibrant and creative natural pet food business is an exciting, new opportunity. While the healthy product offerings speak for themselves their business process was failing due to lack of consistency and clear leadership, hindering their success," said Lemonis. "This is a great example of why it's the combination of people, process and product that are essential to a successful business model."

The premiere of this season's The Profit aired Wednesday night at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT on CNBC after the GOP debate, and will rebroadcast on CNBC at 10 p.m. Nov. 3.

The episode featured Lemonis stepping in to assist Bentley's Corner Barkery to turn around their struggling business and repair the stress and fatigue among its employees and owners. Bentley's was in need of assistance to streamline their pricing structure, increase product offerings and develop brand consistency in order to help them meet demand for their quality product, but they were struggling to recover from years of poor business decisions and acquisitions.
