'Holiday in the Grove' returns Dec. 5 to Sugar Grove

This year's "Holiday in the Grove" will be held on Saturday, Dec. 5, in Sugar Grove. The day kicks off with "Breakfast with Santa." Serving times are 8, 9, and 10 a.m. This will be held at the Sugar Grove Community House, 141 S. Main.

Also at the Community Building, will be pictures with Santa, children's activities, including a Cake Walk. The building will be open until noon.

Across the street, at the Sugar Grove United Methodist Church, you will be able to purchase amazing homemade cookies, candies and treats from Santa's Sweet Shoppe.

Continue your trip down the road and stop at Kaneland John Shields Elementary School, open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. to visit the Holiday Crafters and Vendors, the children's craft area, buy some raffle tickets.

Raffle items are all donate by our wonderful crafters, vendors and business from around town.

There will be a special visit from Mrs. Claus at 1 p.m. to decorate cookies with all the children. If you didn't have breakfast enjoy a light lunch, cup of coffee or hot chocolate at the Holiday Café.
