Young runners invited to Rosary High's 'Taste of Cross' event

The Rosary High School cross-country team is hosting a one-mile fun run for all students eighth grade and under on Tuesday, Oct. 13, at the school, 901 N. Edgelawn Drive, Aurora.

Registration begins at 3:45 p.m. with a course tour at 4:15 p.m. The first race starts at 4:30 p.m. with the youngest division. Separate one-mile races will follow every 15 minutes, and awards will be presented after each race.

Trophies will be awarded to first-place finishers and place ribbons for second through fifth place in each division. All finishers will receive a ribbon.

Parents or coaches must accompany runners. Teams are welcome. Participants must fill out a participation form and include a $1 donation per runner.
