Plenty of pumpkins at Wheaton's Cosley Zoo

Thousands of pumpkins are scattered across the lawn at Wheaton's Cosley Zoo this month as the 5-acre park district facility celebrates its annual Pumpkin Fest, which continues through Oct. 31. The festival at 1356 N. Gary Ave. also features a corn stalk tunnel and a straw pyramid, along with the chance to check out the animals and buy all sorts of fall-themed goodies, with all proceeds going to the museum.
