Mt. Prospect police searching for sex abuse suspect

Mount Prospect police announced that they have issued an arrest warrant for a Mount Prospect man on a charge of aggravated criminal sexual abuse in connection with an asssault on a 16-year-old girl and are offering a reward through CrimeStoppers for locating him.

If anyone knows where to find Emmanual Flores-Lopez, 30, they are asked to call 911, or make an anonymous tip to Crime Stoppers at (847) 590-7867, or to text the keyword MPPD and their message to 274637. Tips that lead to a successful prosecution are elibible to win a reward of up to $1,000.

Police already have arrested Maria Silva, 38, of the 10400 block of Betty Court, Rosemont, in connection with the case. She was charged with aggravated criminal sexual abuse and aggravated involuntary sexual servitude and ordered held on $250,000 bail Wednesday.

Cook County Assistant State's Attorney Anissa Jordan said Silva sent the girl a message via Facebook asking if she wanted to earn $200. The girl told police Silva picked her up about 3 a.m. Sept. 26 and drove her to a home under construction on the 1700 block of Magnolia Lane in Mount Prospect where Silva and the man sexually abused her, then paid her $130, Jordan said. There was a second encounter about 2:45 a.m. Sept. 27, after which the girl told her pastor, Jordan said.

Her next court date is Oct. 19.
