Culver's of Carol Stream hosts Give a Pint, Get a Pint blood drive

Culver's of Carol Stream, 290 S. Schmale Rd., will team with LifeSource, Chicagoland's Blood Center, for a "Give a Pint, Get a Pint" blood drive on Friday, October 9, from 1-7 p.m. All participating donors will receive a complimentary pint of Culver's famous frozen custard.

"The need for blood donations is constant, so we are always more than happy to host LifeSource at our restaurant" says Amy Adams, Culver's of Carol Stream owner. "Thanks to the efforts of our generous community, we will save several lives."

Interested donors can pre-register inside their local Culver's or visit www.lifesource.org for rules and to see dates, times and locations of their nearest Culver's blood drive event.

It's easy to donate. The donation process takes about an hour and is both safe and comfortable. Blood donors need to be at least 17-years-old, 16 with written parental consent, weigh at least 110 pounds and be in general good health. Most medications are accepted. Please bring photo identification such as a driver's license, state ID or passport.
