Night life events: Fall beer fest takes over Durty Nellie's Saturday

Durty Nellie's fall beer fest

Join Durty Nellie's fall beer fest from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 3. The day includes live entertainment and seasonal craft beers from around the world. On tap will be Goose Island, Revolution, Ayinger, Two Brothers and more, showcasing an array of tastes like Marzen, pumpkin ale, porter, stout, Belgian dark ale, Rauchbier, Dunkel weissbier and mild ales. $32 per person plus tax. St. Joseph's Roaring '20s

Flappers and fedoras hit the dance floor at Presence St. Joseph Hospital - Elgin's Roaring '20s gala beginning at 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 3. The evening includes cocktails, raffles, a live auction and entertainment by Phase 4. Gatsby's game night

It's game show night at Gatsby's Sports Pub and Pizza beginning at 8 p.m. every Tuesday. Play four games similar to the TV game shows "Family Feud," "Jeopardy," "Wheel of Fortune" and "Name That Tune."
