Hoffman Estates Hispanic Heritage Fiesta Oct. 10
The village of Hoffman Estates Cultural Awareness Commission will celebrate the community's diverse culture by sponsoring a Hispanic Heritage Fiesta from 2 to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 10, at village hall, 1900 Hassell Road.
The event will feature the music of Latin acoustical guitar player and singer Jose Verduzco; Latin dance representing Bolivia, Ecuador, Argentina and Mexico; arts and crafts; and, of course, the popular piñata.
Featured speaker Pastor Raul de la Matta will address one of today's most important topics: "Raising the Next Generation."
