Woodfield Mall to host seasonal job fair in preparation for the holidays

Gearing up for the coming holiday season, Woodfield Mall, one of the largest shopping destinations in the United States with nearly 300 retail stores, will host a Holiday Job Fair to match job-seekers with more than 40 top retailers on Thursday, Oct. 8, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the JCPenney Court.

"This is always an exhilarating time as our retailers start to prepare their sales forces for the excitement and demands of another busy holiday season," said David Gott, general manager at Woodfield Mall. "Woodfield Mall continues to be a significant source of jobs and tax revenue, so we are pleased to help match those in need of work with new full and part-time positions."

More than 100 retail positions include full and part-time sales, cashiers, management and key-holder opportunities at Bath & Body Works, Express, Flight 23 at Footaction, Fly Zone at Kids Foot Locker, Fossil, Godiva, Journeys, Lucky, Michael Kors, SIX:02, Swarovski, Victoria's Secret, Yankee Candle, Zara, Woodfield Mall's Guest Services and more.

Retailers will be prepared to review resumes, provide applications and conduct on-the-spot interviews. Woodfield Mall recommends that applicants arrive early to secure the best positions, bring identification and dress to impress.
