Don't poison unwelcome animals

There is a monster loose in Roselle.

Just in the last few months I have seen deer, coyote, rabbits, opossum, skunk, my neighbor's dog, cats, raccoon and fox in my back yard. In the last month I have seen two innocent animals die in what I can only imagine is a horrible agonizing death. I watched as they went through convulsions, gasping for air before they died. Someone put out poisoned bait to kill them.

I called the police. They told me to call a local animal wildlife center. They never called back. What am I supposed to do? I can't believe human beings can do something like this. If a raccoon is getting in your garbage, secure the garbage can. If skunks are making your area fragrant, sprinkle "critter ridder" or something else around your house. That's what we do.

For heaven's sake don't put poison out to kill whatever may happen to go through your yard. This is just sick. What kind of human being are you? Stop it.

I don't want to see another poor animal go through this again. I just hope someone's pet dog doesn't die on your doorstep. Then again, maybe that would wake you up.
