Roadwork near Lake Zurich High starting Tuesday
Illinois Department of Transportation officials say traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction starting Tuesday during the daylight hours for resurfacing on Midlothian Road/Church Street, between Main Street and Old McHenry Road, in Lake Zurich. IDOT projects the work will be done by Nov. 8. Officials said the project will affect those driving to Lake Zurich High School. Motorists can expect delays and should allow extra time when traveling through the area. Students are encouraged to take a bus to the high school. IDOT said drivers are urged to pay close attention to flaggers and signs in the work zones, obey the posted speed limits and be on the alert for workers and equipment.
