Boys soccer: Streamwood shuts out Lyons
Streamwood 1, Lyons 0: At the New Trier College Showcase Tournament Saturday, all the Sabres (2-1) needed was a shot from Aldo Lazaro in the 33rd minute to preserve a shutout win. Goalkeeper Daniel Dominquez recorded his second no-no of the season and Bryan Mora tallied 1 assist.
Yorkville 6, Burlington Central 1: Jack Schramme, assisted by Austin Grenert, scored the Rockets' only goal in this loss at the DeKalb tournament. Ryan Fitzgerald and David Murphy each had 4 saves in goal for BC (1-1-1).
