Stevenson teacher wins national award

Stevenson High School teacher Amy Inselberger has been named the 2015 recipient of the Outstanding Biology Teacher Award for Illinois from the National Association of Biology Teachers, the Lincolnshire school announced Friday. Educators were judged on their teaching ability and experience, cooperativeness in the school and community, inventiveness, initiative, and relationships with students. Inselberger, who has spent her entire 20-year teaching career at Stevenson, will be honored in Nov. 14 at a conference in Rhode Island.
