R Lane reduction coming Monday on Milwaukee Avenue in Gurnee

Lanes will be reduced on Milwaukee Avenue (Route 21), from Washington Street to Skokie Highway (Route 41), in Gurnee, for a resurfacing project beginning, weather permitting, Monday, Aug. 17, according to the Illinois Department of Transportation. Traffic will be reduced to one lane controlled by flaggers from Grand Avenue (Route 132) to Skokie Highway when workers are present. Lanes also will be reduced during the daytime hours from Washington Street to Grand Avenue. The project will be complete by Nov. 16.
