Citizens for Conservation to host native plant presentation in Barrington

Citizens for Conservation will host a presentation which native trees and shrubs are best to add to your garden at the Barrington village hall Wednesday, Aug. 12.

Meredith Tucker and Annamarie Lukes, volunteers with the Habitat Corridors program, will lead the program, which begins at 6:45 p.m. with refreshments, handouts and conversation. The free presentation will discuss the benefits of native plants, including their ability to reduce noise, absorb stormwater, clean air pollution, and block winter winds.

RSVP by calling (847) 382-7283 or emailing cfc@citizensforconservation.org.
