Lambs Farm tent sale

Lambs Farm's Cedar Chest Thrift Shop is hosting its third Community Tent Sale, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 11 and 12, and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 13. Many items from the thrift shop and other campus businesses will be available for sale in the parking lot at 14245 W. Rockland Road, Green Oaks. Lori Degman do an interactive reading of her book "Cock-a-Doodle Oops," with children and their parents, and a coloring activity after the reading from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, and at 1 p.m. Sept. 13. Local thrift stores, businesses and individuals also are welcome to set up a tent, starting at $40 for all three days. On Sept. 11, those over 55 will get a 25 percent discount.
