Lake County seeks public input on flooding

Lake County residents are being asked for input on when and where flooding occurs during five upcoming public outreach meetings hosted by the Stormwater Management Commission. The agency is updating its management plan and is looking for information regarding stormwater, water quality, erosion and other challenges. The first sessions are set for Tuesday, Aug. 11, at the Lake Villa District Library, 1001 E. Grand Ave., Lindenhurst, and on Wednesday, Aug. 12, at the Winthrop Harbor community center, 1520 7th St., Winthrop Harbor. Meetings also are scheduled for Aug. 18 in Libertyville, Aug. 19 in North Barrington and Aug. 25 in Highland Park.
