Waukegan man faces charges in home burglaries

A Waukegan man faces charges related to home burglaries in Waukegan and Deerfield, police say.

Noe Gomez-Castro, 20, of the 500 block of Lynn Terrace, was charged Wednesday stemming from a join investigation between Deerfield and Waukegan police for burglaries that happened in early July.

Gomez-Castro faces one count of residential burglary, one count of burglary, one count of attempted burglary and one count of criminal trespass to property for a burglary that occurred in the 700 block of Kipling Place in Deerfield July 8th.

He also faces one count of residential burglary and two counts of theft for a burglary that happened July 9 in the 2300 block Hyde Park of Waukegan.

He remains in Lake County jail on a $100,000 bond and will appear in court again on Aug. 6.
