Presence medical center name new executive

Presence Holy Family Medical Center and Presence Resurrection Medical Center has named Yolande Wilson-Stubbs, EMBA, RN, BSN, new regional chief operations officer, long-term acute care services.

Primarily responsible for the day-to-day operations of Presence Holy Family Medical Center in Des Plaines, Wilson-Stubbs will also lead the integration of LTAC services with Presence Resurrection Medical Center on Chicago's Northwest side. LTAC services include inpatient care for patients up to 30 days or more, intensive care units and the unique Keys to Recovery program, an inpatient medical detox service.

Prior to the appointment, she was chief executive officer for Kindred Hospital Boston - North Shore in Peabody, Mass., where she led operation for the 50-bed transitional care facility, including a renovation of the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and telemetry unit expansion. Wilson-Stubbs also held leadership positions as chief clinical officer at Kindred Hospital Boston - North Shore and Kindred Hospital New Orleans.

She also was a registered nurse at Memorial Medical Center in New Orleans. Wilson-Stubbs holds a Bachelor of Science in nursing and biology from Dillard University in New Orleans, an Executive Master of Business Administration from the University of New Orleans.

She is currently pursuing board certification from the American College of Healthcare Executives.
