Wingfest benefits needy children July 26 in Schaumburg

The Woodfield Area Children's Organization will hold its 15th annual Wingfest and Bags Tournament from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, July 26, at Drink, 871 E. Algonquin Road in Schaumburg.

The $30 admission buys all-you-can-eat wings and two drink tickets. Everyone must be 21 or older to enter.

Participants can vote for their favorite wings from among Alley 64, Chef Vince's Zeal, Clementi's, Finn McCool's, Moretti's, Frato's, MT Barrels, Level 257, Rosati's, Tap House Grill and UNO Pizza & Grill.

The bags tournament begins at 2 p.m. and costs $20 for each team to enter for a chance to win the $200 cash prize.

Music will be provided by Hooked on Sonics, and a free Wingest Koozie will be given away to the first 400 people.

To buy tickets in advance, go to wacowingfest.eventbrite.com. Reserved cabanas for 10 are available.

All proceeds will benefit underprivileged children.
