Include a solution with budget gripes

I've been reading for many weeks now about how no group or organization wants to give up their piece of the pie to balance the budget. A lot of residents feel we should balance the budget and we even elected a governor that promised to balance the budget. Now when it comes to backing the governor everyone is abandoning him because it affects their piece of the pie.

The thing I find interesting is that while everyone is complaining, I don't see anyone offering ideas on how to balance the budget without raising taxes, because that would be the only other option that would be left.

Wait a minute. No one likes that idea either. So maybe the next time you take five minutes to write an article complaining about how budget cuts will affect your piece of the pie, please take five more minutes to include ideas on how to balance the budget without affecting other pieces of the pie. You may discover that it isn't an easy task to accomplish.
