Zeigler to open in Downers Grove

DOWNERS GROVE - The Downers Grove Economic Development Corp. said that Zeigler Auto Group Inc., plans to open a second dealership in Downers Grove.

The dealership will feature new Chrysler Ram Promaster Vans. In addition, new Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep vehicles, and some pre-owned cars, will be sold at the new location.

Zeigler Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram opened its first location at 2311 Ogden Ave. in Downers Grove in 2009. the second will be at 2501 Ogden Ave.

The company has submitted site plans to the village.

Zeigler Auto Group was founded by Harold Zeigler in 1975 in Lowell, Michigan It has grown to 20 locations with 52 franchises in Illinois, Michigan, Indiana and New York. It employees more than 1,000 people with annual sales of more than $800 million.
