Time for U.S. to get tough on China
Multinational corporations send jobs to China. America workers lose their jobs and standard of living. They shop for cheap cloths, toys, tools, etc., at Wal-Mart. Most of the goods come from China.
Meanwhile, China manipulates their currency to further take advantage of "trade" with America. Thus, we are funding a huge military build up that allows China to threaten their neighbors. We spend billions to focus on Asia to blunt their expansion in the South China Sea.
China hacks our government, military and corporations. They steal secrets that save them the cost of developing new technology and products. We are forced to spend more and more to compete while refusing to retaliate.
Now China is selling illegal, synthetic drugs to Americans via the Internet. These are drugs they outlaw at home. So, they profit by breaking the rules and jeopardizing our health.
And which country has bailed out Russia by providing energy? You guessed correctly; China. We impose sanctions to punish Putin for invading Crimea and Ukraine that hurt our European allies and China comes to his rescue.
We are encouraging China to become a bigger and bigger threat. Our politicians and corporate CEOs choose to jeopardize our future for a quick profit. Our leaders ignore the obvious and expect us to foot the bill.
Instead of facilitating our own decline, the politicians and CEOs should be standing up for Americans. Show a little patriotism for a change.
